I have the honour to report that Conrad Bitzer,

a German resident, was tried by a Field General Court-Martial convened by me, on the 10ta. instant. The Court consisted of:-

President.

Lieutenant-Colonel F.J.Moberly, D.S.0., 25th. Punjabis.

Members.

Captain H. T. Dobbin, 2nd. En. D.C.L.I.

Lieut. J. E. Marshall

The prisoner was charged in accordance with enclosed charge sheet. He was found guilty and sentenced to 4 months imprisonment. I confirmed the finding and sentence but commuted the latter to 28 days detention.

In this description of Court-Martial no record is kept of documentary or oral evidence. I attach a copy of the form which goes to the Judge Advocate General at the War Office. Mr. Bitzer is being released this morning on

medical recommendation after 5 days detention.
